Open Board Position: Calling for Applicants

is calling for Expressions of Interest to fill an upcoming BOARD MEMBER Position.

DFL board members can serve a maximum of five terms of three years. At the end of this year’s Jamboree, we will have a vacancy on the Board. Steve Mancuso has been attending DFL since 2004, and been on the Board since 2009. While on the Board he has served in so many key roles multiple times, including Trip Organizer, Publicist, Facebook Group Administrator, and Raffle Manager, to name a few. His commitment, dedication and unwavering support for this organization and our mission has helped us sustain, grow, and thrive. As he now will rotate off the Board, we thank Steve for all that he has done to make our DFL community feel like a DFL family.

With this vacancy on the Board and we will be looking to fill it. Being a Board member is a great way to give back to the DFL community. More details of the responsibilities are outlined here. All Board members are volunteers. For consideration, the Board would like a short (less than a page) outline of the qualities you think you would bring to the Board. We would especially like your view on how you could innovate our events and communications to our attendees. Applications will be opened starting now.
